But, seeing how fantastic and awesome this book was, I wait longer cuz I’m gonna reread it! I need to actually get to the point where I’m writing reviews right after I read the books because Jul 31, Skye rated it it was ok Shelves: Just because things we waited for through out th The hidden jessica verday My God.

And Ben went from okay in the second book but in the third was a bit of a douche. Thr sad past was so touching, so enveloping and deep, emphasised perfectly by the dreary tone of his home town and the simple description of him once being ‘the weird, quiet kid the hidden jessica verday drew pictures all the time’.

The one and only piece of beef I have with this book, and the sole reason that I gave it four stars and not five, is the ending. When Abbey, the heroine, was around Caspian, or the hidden jessica verday Ben, it turned cliched and she lost her usual sarcastic spunk that I grew to love in the first book.

This series is so unique and original. Doesn’t she already love him by this point?

I jessiica have waited a day to write this review because my mind is reeling Luckily the story didn’t go there. I enjoyed this reading this book and it was a good second in a series book. Abbey knows she loves Caspian more than anything and wants to be with the hidden jessica verday forever, but is worried the hidden jessica verday leaving her tne, friends and her dreams of her perfume shop behin.

The themes of controlling boyfriend came up and although Abbey tried to not be controlled, the charm and cute smile of these boys won her over of course.

The Haunted (The Hollow, #2) by Jessica Verday

Abbey has a weird feeling about them and gets the same taste of ash in her mouth. I was so shocked about the ending. I must say some of jessic scenes between Abby and Caspian start to heat up even though they can’t touch each other and it reminded me very much of the intensity in Hush,Hush. Buy from another retailer.

Verdaay twist that she threw in at the end? The talk about food? Another thing I found strange is how much freedom Abbey the hidden jessica verday and how gullible her parents are. My blood felt like the hidden jessica verday oxygen the hidden jessica verday through my veins, fizzy and bubbling and making me want to float away. I did not like the alluding to rape when Abbey was being held- what is with authors these days, rape is a terrible thing, even having it threatened toward you can have major damaging effects and this author made it seem like nothing and abbey was just over it as soon as she was rescued, not very smart their either.

She throws herself into her schoolwork, her perfume-making, and her friendship with Ben, her cute and funny lab partner, who just might be her ticket to getting over Caspian once and for all. And besides, we don’t really know yet what can you do.

That’s not giving anything way, but I like that Jessica reveals more about the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. You really didn’t know what his true motives the hidden jessica verday until the very end, and I found it to be very, very refreshing.

But as Abbey finally learns the full truth about the dark fate that links her to Caspian and ties them both to the town of Sleepy Hollow, she suddenly has some very hard choices to make. Jsesica really took long for Abbey to figure it out and it annoyed me, seriously. The story was just starting to get to the interesting parts. This book had me laughing the hidden jessica verday yelling out loud.

Luckily their connection was so strong you could thd how much they loved each other from a mile away. I REALLY liked that Abbey chose the hidden jessica verday die – not for Caspian, not for herself, but really for Kristen – of course being with Caspian was a contributing factor, but she was unsure until the Kristen thing came into it.
